Cardi B to Receive ASCAP Voice of the Culture Award
Cardi B will be honored with ASCAP’s Voice of the Culture Award at a private ceremony on June 8 in Los Angeles. A multi-time ASCAP award winner and former Rhythm and Soul Songwriter of the Year, Cardi is being recognized for her impact on music and culture. “She continues to use her voice to advocate and inspire,” said ASCAP Chairman Paul Williams.
SoundCloud Partners with TikTok
SoundCloud is the latest platform to join TikTok’s Add to Music App feature, allowing users to save tracks directly to their SoundCloud Liked Tracks playlist. This integration follows Spotify and Apple Music, which have combined for over a billion saves. “This makes it easier for fans to stay connected with artists,” said SoundCloud’s global head of music Emmy Lovell.

Argentine singer-songwriter Hana Fox, known for blending K-pop and urban pop, has joined The Wave Music Group. Her new single “JaJa” dropped May 15. “It’s about facing breakups with humor and being real with my emotions,” said Fox.
