Ashlee Simpson Ross is set to perform her highly anticipated “I Am Me” shows at Las Vegas’ Venetian Resort on August 29-30, 2024. The performances, revealed exclusively to Variety, will take place at the Voltaire venue, which holds a thousand guests, just in time for the Labor Day weekend.
“I’ve been holding onto this news for a while, and I’m beyond thrilled to finally share it — I’m hitting the stage in Vegas!” Ross shared with Variety. “Music has always been the place where I feel the most alive, and I’m looking forward to sharing that energy with you all. I’m so grateful for my fans who have supported me throughout my entire career. Let’s make these shows unforgettable!”
The shows will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album Autobiography, while also marking the upcoming anniversary of her sophomore album I Am Me this October. Fans can expect to hear classic hits like “Pieces of Me,” “La La,” and more during the Vegas performances.
Ross, who released her last album Bittersweet World in 2008, took a break from music before collaborating with her husband Evan Ross on the Ashlee + Evan EP in 2018. The couple also starred in an E! reality series of the same name. Beyond music, Ross has appeared on Broadway and in the West End as Roxie Hart in Chicago, and has dabbled in acting with roles in The Recipe Files and Pawn Shop Chronicles.
Tickets for Ross’ I Am Me shows are available now at voltairelv.com, with prices starting at $65. Doors will open at 9 p.m. for both performances.
