Night Edge Pictures and EST N8, a Thai-U.S. sales company, have revealed the first look at the horror-thriller “Delivery Man” at the Cannes Film Market. The film stars Bhumibhat “Aim” Thavornsiri, Plearnpichaya “Junéi” Komalarajun, and Ananda Everingham.
Produced by Bangkok-based Night Edge Pictures, the film tells the story of a shy but tech-savvy food delivery worker. He becomes dangerously obsessed with a female customer on his delivery route.
Thavornsiri, who recently won multiple Thai film awards for “In Youth We Trust” and appeared in Netflix’s “Hunger” and “Doi Boy”, plays the lead role of Guy. Komalarajun, known for “OMG! Oh My Girl” and “Love Stuck”, plays Sai, an architect who becomes Guy’s target. Filmmakers say this is her most intense role so far.
Veteran actor Everingham, famous for the “Khun Pan” trilogy and the horror classic “Shutter”, completes the main cast.
The film is written and directed by Ornusa Donsawai and Pun Homchuen. Acclaimed filmmaker Kongkiat Komesiri also contributed to the screenplay. Producers aim to mix the suspenseful pacing of Korean cinema with Thailand’s unique storytelling style. The movie explores the dark reality of stalker culture.
“Aim, Junéi, and Ananda will take on horror roles they have never played before. This makes them unmissable,” said Hans Audric Estialbo, CEO of Night Edge Pictures. The company has previously distributed hits like “Terrifier 3” and “Talk to Me” in Thailand.
The project has also received support from Thai production company Benetone Films and Malaysian entertainment giant Astro Shaw.
“This is the kind of horror story that could happen to anyone. Audiences today will find it eerie and frightening,” said Rachvin and Kulthep Narula, CEO and COO of Benetone Films.
Raja Jastina Raja Arshad, head of Astro Shaw, added: “Astro Shaw is proud to join this new wave of storytelling. We believe these stories will resonate with people everywhere and highlight the unique power of Southeast Asian horror.”
“Delivery Man” is currently in production. The release is planned for early 2026.
Kris Eiamsakulrat, co-founder of EST N8, which handles worldwide sales, said: “At EST N8, we support stories that show the real struggles of modern life in Asia. ‘Delivery Man’ is a gripping tale of obsession and loneliness. It reflects Thailand’s youth culture but speaks to global audiences. We are proud to bring Southeast Asia’s boldest stories to the world.”
