The CBGB Festival, celebrating the legacy of the iconic New York punk venue, will return on September 27 at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn. Presented in partnership with Bowery Presents, the one-day event will feature top acts including Jack White, Iggy Pop, and the Sex Pistols (with Frank Carter replacing John Lydon).
The festival will host 18 additional performances across three stages, with notable acts like Johnny Marr, Marky Ramone, the Damned, the Melvins, and more. Many artists have ties to the original CBGB scene, making the event a celebration of punk’s history and future.
A presale will begin on May 15 at 10 AM ET, with general tickets available on May 16. New York residents under 25 can access a limited batch of $73 tickets, available at a box office pop-up at Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 17.
The festival promises a day filled with music, punk merch, local food and drinks, and immersive CBGB installations, including replicas of the famous bar and stage.
