The 2025 season of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! will kick off on June 9 with performances by Janelle Monae and Grace Jones at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park. This annual summer concert series will feature 14 free shows and 4 benefit concerts, with additional performances from Dinosaur Jr., Snail Mail, Gogol Bordello, Nick Hakim, and more.
The season will begin on June 7 with a conversation on Haitian and Caribbean music, featuring DJ Michaël Brun and other guests. Tributes to Quincy Jones will include a June 27 screening of The Greatest Night in Pop and a July 26 screening of The Wiz. Jazz lovers will enjoy an August 15 double bill featuring Nikara Warren and William Parker.
Other highlights include the 3rd Annual Juneteenth in the Park celebration on June 19, featuring Ghost-Note, and the Lyricist Lounge Anniversary Show on August 9.
BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! is presented in partnership with Prospect Park Alliance and NYC Parks. Public support comes from the National Endowment for the Arts, New York State, and the New York City Council.
