Colombian singer-songwriter Ela Taubert, who won Best New Artist at last year’s Latin Grammys, is set to release her debut album Preguntas A Las 11:11 on May 9 via Universal Music Latino. The 16-track LP includes collaborations with pop producer Max Martin, Joe Jonas, and the band Morat.
In an interview with Variety, Taubert shared that the album reflects her personal journey from age 15 to 25, capturing moments of overthinking, wish-making at 11:11, and emotional growth. “This album is like a midnight diary, documenting everything I’ve experienced,” Taubert explained. “More than anything, my hope is that it becomes a safe space for listeners and fans, a companion as we all grow together.”
The tracklist includes the hit song “¿Cómo Pasó?” featuring Joe Jonas, which Taubert performed live at the 2024 Latin Grammys. Released in November, the track has since earned RIAA Platinum certification and accumulated over 40 million streams.
“This song changed my life,” Taubert said. “It brought so many blessings and unforgettable memories. Working with artists like Joe Jonas and performing with Morat to close that chapter was the perfect way to end the album. It’s a reminder that dreams come true.”
