Heidi Klum and her 19-year-old son Henry Samuel turned heads at the 2025 American Music Awards on Monday, May 26, arriving in coordinated all-black outfits for a stylish mother-son red carpet moment.
The 51-year-old supermodel stunned in a bold black gown featuring a plunging neckline, exaggerated structured shoulders, and side cutouts. The look was completed with a front slit and a dramatic ruffled train. Klum paired the dress with knee-high leather boots and wore her hair in soft, center-parted waves, complemented by smoky eye makeup.
Henry matched his mother’s sleek look in a classic black suit, button-down shirt, and dress shoes. The duo held hands and smiled for photographers, clearly enjoying the evening together.
Klum, one of the evening’s presenters, joined a star-studded lineup that included Cara Delevingne, Ciara, Wayne Brady, Machine Gun Kelly, and Tiffany Haddish, among others. The event was broadcast live from Fontainebleau Las Vegas on CBS and Paramount+, with Jennifer Lopez serving as host.
Ahead of the event, Klum shared light-hearted moments with her son on Instagram. The two were seen dancing to Drake’s “Fancy” on an airport escalator, lip-syncing to Kendrick Lamar’s “i” on a plane, and showing off dance moves in a hotel room. Klum playfully captioned the first post, “Guess tonight’s category @amas.”
Henry, who made his modeling debut during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, appears to be following in his mother’s footsteps. In a March interview with Access Hollywood, Klum revealed that Henry approached her for advice when he decided to pursue modeling.
“He was like, ‘You know, Mom, I really want to get into modeling. What do you think?’” Klum recalled. “I thought he was always more into music, but all of a sudden he wanted to try modeling. I said, ‘You’re so handsome—of course you should do this.’”
Klum shares Henry with ex-husband Seal. The former couple also has three other children: Leni, 20; Johan, 18; and Lou.
The 2025 American Music Awards showcased not only top music talent but also a touching family moment from one of fashion’s most iconic figures.
