Radiant Films International has taken on worldwide sales for the psychological thriller Closure, starring Michael Kelly (House of Cards), Kevin Pollak (The Usual Suspects), Mena Suvari (American Beauty), and Dennis Haysbert (Heat). Directed by Will Wernick (Escape Room) with a script by Jason Rosen, the film is set in 1987 and follows Bureau Chief Frank Morley (Kelly), who investigates a correction officer’s death after a prisoner vanishes. As Morley, haunted by past trauma, digs deeper into the case, the line between reality and delusion blurs, leading him into a dangerous search for the truth.
Radiant CEO Mimi Steinbauer expressed excitement about bringing the film to the Cannes market, praising Kelly’s nuanced performance and the film’s chilling twists. Closure is currently in post-production and was filmed on location in Moundsville, West Virginia.
The film is produced by Wernick, Rosen, Kelly Delson, Jeff Delson, and Kyle David Crosby. Closure is set to be introduced to buyers at Cannes, which runs from May 13-24.
