Billie Eilish and Nat Wolff have fueled new speculation about their relationship after being seen sharing a close moment in Italy.
Photos shared by Deuxmoi show the 23-year-old singer and the 30-year-old actor kissing and sipping champagne on a balcony in Venice.
Neither Eilish’s nor Wolff’s representatives responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Sunday, June 8.
Rumors about a possible romance between the two first gained traction in March. They were spotted leaving the iHeart Music Video Awards together and later enjoying a night out in New York City, according to PageSix.
Wolff, known for his acting and music, appeared in Eilish’s self-directed music video for “Chihiro,” released in June 2024. At the time, Eilish described their on-screen connection as “inescapable.”
Despite the speculation, both Eilish and Wolff have previously said they are just good friends.
Wolff and his brother Alex have shared that they became close to Eilish when they opened for her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour in 2024.
In an October interview with Variety, Nat Wolff revealed that they bonded over their shared experience with Tourette syndrome, a condition involving involuntary movements or sounds.
“Even when I saw Billie in interviews, I thought, ‘Oh, she’s one of us,’” Wolff said.
He added that they understand how people with Tourette’s often try to hide their symptoms but feel comfortable being themselves around each other.
Eilish also recalled their first meeting at an Oscars after-party in a Vogue video. She said it was an instant connection, even though she couldn’t remember the exact conversation.
Despite ongoing rumors about her love life, Eilish told Vogue last year that she prefers to keep her romantic life private. She said she no longer wants to discuss her sexuality or dating publicly.
“I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever,” she said. “And I hope that they never will again.”
