Capricorn Clark, a longtime employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs, testified at his federal sex trafficking trial that he once kidnapped her with a gun and brought her to the home of rapper Kid Cudi, threatening to kill him.
The incident occurred in December 2011 after Combs found out that his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, was secretly seeing Cudi. Clark, who helped Cassie hide the relationship, said Combs showed up at her apartment early one morning, armed and furious, demanding to know about “Scott”—Cudi’s real name. “Get dressed, we’re going to go kill this n—,” he allegedly told her.
Clark said Combs forced her into a car driven by his bodyguard Rubin, and they went to Cudi’s Hollywood Hills home. Cudi later testified his house had been broken into around that time. Clark said she warned Cassie to keep Cudi away, but he came home, saw Combs’ car, and sped off, with Combs in pursuit. They lost him in the chase.
Later, Clark said Combs ordered her and Ventura to convince Cudi not to report the incident, allegedly threatening, “I’ll kill all you motherf—ers” if they didn’t. That same day, Clark said she witnessed Combs violently assault Ventura, repeatedly kicking her.
Clark said she didn’t call police because Combs threatened her life. She eventually told Ventura’s mother about the abuse. She also said she reported the incident to Bad Boy Records president Harve Pierre but was ignored and later fired over a vacation time issue.
Clark, who worked for Combs from 2004 to 2018 in roles including personal assistant and creative director, said he regularly threatened her. She described other disturbing incidents, including being subjected to a five-day lie detector test over missing jewelry, during which she was told she’d be “thrown in the East River” if she failed.
Combs is facing federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
