LOS ANGELES — The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has announced the first slate of speakers for the 2025 Produced By Conference, set to take place May 31 at the Universal Studios Lot in Los Angeles.
This year’s conference will bring together leading voices from film, television, and emerging media. Key sessions will also explore the growing role of artificial intelligence in entertainment — specifically “from a producer’s perspective,” organizers said.
“This year’s Produced By Conference will ignite meaningful dialogue around some of the most relevant and complex topics that affect our industry and the future of our profession,” PGA presidents Stephanie Allain and Donald De Line said in a joint statement.
Confirmed speakers include Blumhouse President Abhijay Prakash; The Brutalist producer Andrew Morrison; Asteria co-founder and CEO Bryn Mooser; Promise co-founder and CEO George Strompolos; and entertainment advisor Barbara Ford Grant.

- Sanjay Shah (Everybody Still Hates Chris)

Moderators include Variety Co-Editor-in-Chief Cynthia Littleton, media executive Joanna Popper, and Hollywood Reporter journalist Rebecca Sun.
The 2025 Produced By Conference is organized by executive producer Branden Chapman, sponsorship director Diane Salerno, and PGA’s PR firm of record, Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis. More speakers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
