In Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing sex trafficking trial, Daniel Phillip, a 41-year-old male escort, testified about his sexual encounters with Combs and his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura between 2012 and 2014. Phillip claimed to have been paid between $700 and $6,000 for sex with Ventura while Combs watched, sometimes masturbating. He also described witnessing physical abuse from Combs toward Ventura, including an instance where Combs allegedly threw a bottle at her and dragged her by her hair.
Phillip recalled his first meeting with Combs and Ventura when he was invited to a hotel room for a private encounter. He described the environment, where Combs watched and sometimes directed sexual acts. Phillip also alleged Combs offered him MDMA, which made him feel ill but euphoric. He said he feared for his life due to Combs’ power and influence and felt obligated to continue meeting with the couple out of concern for Ventura’s safety.
The trial, which began this week, aims to portray Combs as a powerful businessman using his fame to engage in illegal activities, while Combs’ defense argues the sexual activities were consensual. The prosecution has introduced security footage as evidence, including an alleged assault on Ventura at the Intercontinental Hotel.
