Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley stepped out as a couple for the first time on the red carpet over the weekend, making a stylish appearance at the Orizzonti | Rosso Exhibition Opening Dinner at Palazzo Barberini in Rome.
The country singer and British actress, who recently confirmed their relationship, turned heads with their coordinated looks. Hurley wore a form-fitting hot pink gown paired with silver platform heels and statement earrings. Cyrus opted for an all-black ensemble, accessorized with sunglasses, boots, and a feather-accented hat.
They were joined by Hurley’s son, model and filmmaker Damian Hurley, for the elegant evening.
The couple first went public last month when they shared a cozy Easter photo on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Easter .” The post marked the first official glimpse into their romance.
Cyrus later opened up about their relationship during an interview on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show, revealing they met on the set of the 2022 holiday film Christmas in Paradise, shot on the Caribbean island of Nevis.
“We didn’t have many scenes together, but when we did, there was a natural chemistry,” Cyrus said. “We just laughed, and at that point in my life, I really needed that.”
He continued, “I thought we were total opposites, but it turns out we have a lot more in common than I ever expected.”
Cyrus described Hurley as “a great human being,” praising her intelligence and business acumen. “She reminds me of Dolly Parton in a way — very smart, very strong,” he said.
Reflecting on their bond, he added, “If you can laugh together, you can get through anything.”
