British rock band Coldplay has added a fourth concert date in India due to overwhelming fan demand. The band will perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on January 25, 2025. This show is expected to attract up to 100,000 fans, making it the largest stadium performance of their career. Coldplay is already scheduled to perform three shows in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21.
Tickets for the Ahmedabad concert will go on sale on November 16, 2024, at noon Indian time. Fans can purchase tickets exclusively through Bookmyshow, the online ticketing platform associated with the tour’s promoter, BookMyShow Live.
The “Music of the Spheres” world tour began in 2022 and has already sold over 12 million tickets across various continents including Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. This makes it the most attended tour by a group in history. Following their shows in India, Coldplay will also perform in Abu Dhabi, Seoul, and Hong Kong from January to April 2025.
