Varun Dhawan is set to launch the trailer for his niece Anjini Dhawan’s debut film, Binny and Family. The trailer will be released on August 30, 2024, ahead of the film’s theatrical premiere on September 20, 2024.
Binny and Family is produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Mahaveer Jain and is presented in Hindi by Balaji Telefilms. The film explores themes of generational differences and is described as a family entertainer.
Recently, filmmaker Karan Johar attended a test screening and praised Anjini’s performance along with the film’s overall content.
Producer Mahaveer Jain stated that in a time when darker films are becoming more popular, Binny and Family is a wholesome movie that audiences of all ages can enjoy. He believes the film will resonate with everyone, from young children to seniors.
In addition to Anjini Dhawan, the cast includes Pankaj Kapur, Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar, Naman Tripaathy, and Charu Shankar. The film is directed and written by Ssanjay Tripaathy and produced by Mahaveer Jain Films and Wavebrand Productions.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan will next appear in the action film Baby John. This high-budget movie marks Dhawan’s first foray into action and features intense sequences, thrilling entertainment, and strong performances. Baby John also introduces Keerthy Suresh to Hindi cinema and stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav. The film is a musical scored by S Thaman and is set to be released in theaters on December 25, 2024.
Baby John is presented by Jio Studios in collaboration with Atlee and Cine1 Studios, and produced by A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios, backed by Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is directed by Kalees.
