Rising pop sensation Chappell Roan has officially signed with Foundations Music for management, marking a significant new chapter in her career following a high-profile split with her former manager late last year.
The news was confirmed by Foundations Music partner Drew Simmons — longtime manager of Noah Kahan — who welcomed Roan to the company via Instagram. “Thrilled to be working with @chappellroan — it’s an honor to welcome her to @foundations,” he wrote. The Foundations website now features a dedicated page celebrating Roan’s arrival, and her representatives confirmed the signing to Variety.
Roan was previously managed by Nick Bobetsky of State of the Art, who had represented her since 2018. Their professional relationship ended shortly after Roan received major Grammy nominations — including album, record, and song of the year — and won Best New Artist.
Under Bobetsky’s guidance, Roan achieved breakout success with her 2023 debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. The album’s release was followed by a surge in popularity, bolstered by electrifying performances at Coachella and Lollapalooza — the latter drawing one of the largest daytime crowds in the festival’s history.
Looking ahead, Roan is collaborating with hit producer Dan Nigro on her sophomore album. In March, she dropped her latest single, the country-tinged The Giver, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track was first introduced during her memorable Saturday Night Live performance last year.
Roan’s new partnership with Foundations Music signals strong momentum as she continues her ascent in the pop world.
