With red predicted to be the color of the season this fall, celebrities like Katie Holmes and Gigi Hadid have already embraced the trend, adding small bursts of the vibrant hue to their looks. But Jennifer Lawrence has taken it a step further.
The No Hard Feelings star was recently seen shopping in New York City, where she opted for an all-red ensemble instead of just a splash of the color. Monochrome outfits are not new for Lawrence, who often sticks to a single color palette in her street style, typically favoring subtle tones like white or navy blue. However, this bold red outfit marks a departure from her usual color choices, making it particularly striking.
Lawrence chose an oversized merlot button-down shirt from The Row, which she wore mostly unbuttoned, save for a few fastenings at the chest. She paired it with cherry red corduroy wide-leg pants, also from The Row. To complete the look, she wore red-tinted Garrett Leight sunglasses and rusty suede slip-on mules. A black Dior saddle bag added a contrasting touch to the outfit.
This isn’t the first time Lawrence has shown her love for the red trend. Earlier this summer, she was spotted wearing various red pieces, from a mesh handbag to parachute pants, proving that the color is a staple in her wardrobe.
