K-pop superstar G-Dragon is returning to the stage with his long-awaited “Übermensch” world tour. This marks his first tour in eight years.
The tour, promoted by Galaxy Corporation with local support from Infinite Prospects Entertainment, will include shows in major North American and European cities this fall. Stops will include Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Newark, and Paris.
The announcement follows the huge success of the Korean leg of the tour. All 60,000 tickets sold out in seconds. Organizers say G-Dragon will deliver a multisensory experience. The show will combine music, fashion, digital technology, and storytelling. The theme focuses on self-discovery and personal growth. Fans can expect new music, custom stage visuals, and exclusive merchandise.
The tour began in Seoul and has already visited Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, and Macau. Before arriving in North America on August 22, G-Dragon will perform in Sydney, Melbourne, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.
The tour supports his third studio album, Übermensch, which debuted at No. 1 in South Korea, Japan, and China. The album made G-Dragon the first K-pop male artist in 2025 to earn over 200 million digital points on South Korea’s Circle Chart, setting a new career record.
Born Kwon Ji-yong, G-Dragon has been a major figure in global music since age 13. His influence reaches beyond music. Through his brand Peaceminusone, he has worked with Chanel, Nike, and BMW. Recently, he launched a perfume with Frédéric Malle and founded Juspeace, a charity focused on fighting drug abuse.
As the leader of BigBang, G-Dragon helped bring K-pop to a global audience with hits like “Fantastic Baby” and “Bang Bang Bang.” His solo work has pushed creative limits with albums like Heartbreaker and One of a Kind. He has also worked with stars like Missy Elliott, Diplo, and Skrillex.
G-Dragon previewed the tour at the Head in The Clouds Festival, where over 36,000 fans got a first look at the production.
The North American leg starts August 22 at Newark’s Prudential Center. It continues with shows on August 31 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena and September 5 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The European leg includes one date on September 20 at Paris La Défense Arena.
