Tyler Alvarez has joined the ensemble cast of the horror-thriller Corporate Retreat, set to begin filming in June. The film stars Alan Ruck (Succession), Ashton Sanders (Moonlight), Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction), Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus), and Odeya Rush (Lady Bird), directed by Aaron Fisher. Fisher co-wrote the script with Kerri Lee Romeo, and Uri Singer’s Passage Pictures is producing.
Corporate Retreat follows a group of executives who attend a luxury desert retreat for leadership training, only to find themselves trapped in a sadistic psychological experiment led by a former CEO, forcing them to confront their darkest flaws—or die trying.
Alvarez is best known for his role as Peter Maldonado in Netflix’s American Vandal. He has also appeared in Blockbuster alongside Randall Park, Crush for Hulu, and in a recurring role in Never Have I Ever. He will soon be seen in the indie film Pools, which premiered at TIFF’s Next Wave.
“Tyler brings sharp wit and magnetic energy to the screen,” said producer Uri Singer. “He’s the perfect fit for our satirical, elevated horror-thriller.”
Alvarez is represented by Buchwald, Artists First, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
